2014 North Texas Giving Day

Impossible Possibilities will participate in the sixth annual North Texas Giving Day (NTGD) scheduled on Thursday, Sept. 18.

2014 North Texas Giving Day

NTGD is an online giving event that provides local nonprofits the opportunity to gain exposure to new donors, while allowing existing supporters to come together and raise as much money as possible over an 18-hour timeframe, from 6:00 a.m. through midnight.

In addition to donations made online, organizations are also eligible to receive bonus funds, random prizes and $1,000 "golden tickets." Giving Day gifts are considered unrestricted donations to the nonprofit, and all gifts are 100% tax-deductible.

“We’re exciting to participate in this year’s North Texas Giving Day,” said Executive Director Joshua Hernandez. “The event provides us another great fundraising outlet, so we’re going to do our best to raise as much money and awareness as we can for education.”

In just five years, North Texas Giving Day has pumped more than $60 million into the North Texas community. In 2013, more than 75,000 gifts totaling $25.2 million, benefiting more than 1,350 nonprofits.
