Since 2009, IP has awarded scholarships to 110 students totaling more than $210,000. IP received approximately 200 scholarship applications, its highest number of any year, from graduating high school seniors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The IP Scholarship Committee completed a two-round selection process in March and held online Zoom interviews with the finalists on Saturday, April 2, 2022. The organization continued its online interview process in lieu of traditional in-person interviews, which it originally incorporated in 2020 due to Covid-19 prevention.

“This was arguably our most competitive group of applicants to date,” co-founder Justin Hernandez said. “Our committee read every application and spent countless hours coming up with this final list. Overall, each student is well deserving and we are very excited to have them represent our organization.”
